How does it work?
As part of the ITS Australia Global Summit 2026, the Careers Expo is a one-day event (24 September) designed to connect university students with real career opportunities, internships, mentors, and industry professionals from more than 40 organisations shaping the future of transport.
Structure of the day
- 10.30am: Careers Expo doors open. Attendees should collect their pass from the registration desk and meet the ITS NextGen volunteers, who will escort them to the exhibition hall and provide information about the day.
- 11-11.45am: Join a curated panel discussion exploring careers in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) sector and hear from professionals working across industry, government and research.
- 11.45-12.30pm: Explore the exhibition hall using the Careers Expo map and visit the iMOVE stand to hear from industry leaders, researchers and NextGen professionals. ITS NextGen hosts will be available to provide introductions and networking opportunities.
- 12.30-1.30pm: Networking lunch with exhibitors, industry representatives, researchers and fellow students.
